Rick is currently Principal UX Architect with Puppet - a US software company with a Belfast office and development team - but has held various UX Director roles in his career with some of the best known names in the industry - including Simply Zesty (formerly Tibus) and Fathom. 

Rick has worked in the digital industry since 1998.

Diane is an experienced educator who, having spent 10 years in the classroom shifted her focus to forging links between education and industry.

In May 2018 Diane founded mTech Academy which aims to inspire and empower everyone involved in education to realise their potential through a collaborative, experiential learning community.

Diane's presentation will show us how these vital links are being built and the impact they are having on the young people involved.

Christine Watson The Future of learning

Christine Watson: TrainingMatchmaker.com

Chartered Marketer and former Chair of the CIM in Ireland, Christine started TrainingMatchmaker.com in 2017.

The platform allows those with training requirements to quickly and easily find available courses - either with a local training provider or via the many MOOC (Massive Online Open Courses) offered by the likes of Harvard, MIT, Open University, Google, Facebook and Disney to name a few.

Christine's presentation will signpost some of the most useful online resources that allow marketing practitioners to ensure their skills continue to develop and grow as the platforms we use evolve and change.

Gil David Facebook The Future of Social Media

 Gil David: Run DMG

In May 2017, Gil founded Run DMG, after spending 14 years working in various sales & marketing roles.  

Having started out as more of a general Digital Marketing Consultant, Gil grew tired of wearing ten different hats and found he enjoyed most and was best at Facebook Ads - which he has been running for 5 years - so since late 2017 specialises in those in order to get the best results for clients. He has since worked with a range of businesses all over the world spending from a few hundred to £100k+ a month on ads, and would probably admit to being a bit of a Facebook Ads geek...  

Gil will share his experiences of the work he has done for his clients on Facebook and arm you with the tools you need to decide whether it is the right channel for your business, and how to make sure it generates a return on your marketing investment.
