Why Recruitment Marketing?

Getting good people is hard.

And it's getting harder.

With employment levels at their highest since 1971 we're dealing with unprecedented competition for talent.

76% of the UK population is now in work and in these uncertain times they haven't got much appetite to move jobs.

So how do you get the people you need when they aren't even looking?

This is what we'll discuss at The Future of Recruitment Marketing where we'll step through the process of attracting and retaining the talent your business needs in order to make your growth ambitions a reality.

Panel: Building Future Leaders

The Future of Recruitment Marketing concludes with a panel discussion on the topic of building the future leaders that our organisations need in order to continue to grow and maintain the ability to attract the calibre of people we all want on our teams.

Our panel is made up of a combination of youth and experience to ensure we hear not only from those that have considerable experience but also from those at the start of their career journey and find our what's important to them when deciding on where they want to work.

Gordon Milligan

Chair, Institute of Directors, Northern Ireland

As well as being Chair of the Institute of Directors in Northern Ireland Gordon is Deputy Chief Executive at Translink.

Prior to this he held the role of Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development at Translink and this experience ensures he is in a position to provide us all with valuable insights into the challenges involved in managing and motivating people in a large organisation.

A Recruitment Revolution

A revolutionary new online recruitment platform was launched in Belfast in January of this year with proceedings overseen by Jedi Jim Eastwood.

Take a look at the short video below which also features co-founder and mainstay of the local recruitment scene, Gary Irvine explaining the problem that the new platform is solving.

We'll be joined at The Future of Recruitment Marketing by Orla M Greevy, Head of Sales & Marketing for SeeMeHired.com and her presentation will explain in more detail what led to the development of the platform and the efficiencies that it can bring to the recruitment process - from attracting the right candidates in the first instance, through managing the interview and feedback process.
