Why Recruitment Marketing?

With the date of our departure from the EU looming there is no doubt that we are all facing an increasingly challenging recruitment environment.

The ability to attract and retain good people - to paraphrase the late, great Brian Clough, I’m not saying it’s the biggest challenge your business faces, but it’s definitely in the Top 1.  

In this environment we can’t simply keep doing what we’ve always done - or we’ll get even less than we’ve always got.

Getting the right people on board is the oxygen that every business needs in order to survive and prosper - and we need to look at every stage of the recruitment process and make changes that will allow us to attract and retain the people we need to deliver our growth ambitions.

Rebecca will celebrate 5 years with Virgin Media in September 2019 and is currently Marketing Manager with responsibility for customer acquisition and account management in the SME sector.

Rebecca has progressed through a number of roles in her time with Virgin Media and her presentation will tell the story of her recruitment experience with the company and how it made Virgin Media stand out as an employer.

Her story will also include details of how the culture and values of the organisation was evident throughout the recruitment process and is true to what the exbperience of working for Virgin Media is like - ensuring that the organisation is able to attract and retain the right people.

Jane Kidd

European Talent & Diversity Manager, Kellog Company

In Jane's role with Kellog's she is responsible for the full talent management cycle - attract, retain and develop - with a key focus on succession planning to help deliver future growth.

Jane has also led the development of diversity and inclusion strategies in recent years and her presentation will focus on te wok that can be done to make sure you maximise conversions from offer to start date and improve retention rates.

Prior to her role with Kellog's Jane spent 7 years in Human Resoures & Talent Acquisition roles with Asda / Walmart and 12 years in HR Consultancy.

Mark is founder of 1st Class Coaching Solutions and works with family companies and small businesses to help 'reluctant leaders' to develop their teams.
